These lightboxes are handmade in the studio. Each piece contains five glass plates with printed transparencies placed between them. This layered technique creates a strong sense of depth and enhances the X-ray–like visual effect.
Every lightbox is unique. For each work I create new combinations of transparent sheets and prints, giving every piece its own character. The result is a one-of-a-kind artwork that also functions as a light source.
The lightbox itself is made from birch plywood. It operates with a 220V adapter and comes with a 2-meter power cord.
The piece can be displayed as a standing object or hung on the wall using the hook on the back.
Tip: The lightbox can also be connected to a dimmer, allowing you to adjust the brightness and create different atmospheres.
